Brad Wressell, Owner Sixteen Penny

Sixteen Penny is a Seattle-based web development, network, and systems consulting company. Brad, the owner, specializes in developing web sites and works directly with clients and in partnership with graphic design firms. He fluidly uses Adobe Flash and content management systems and seamlessly integrates databases into web sites. Brad is well versed in cross platform environments – from a single Macintosh or Windows computer to a fully integrated cross-platform network.

Before launching Sixteen Penny, Brad was the Information Technology (IT) Manager and Digital Studio Director for one of Seattle’s top graphic design firms, Fitch, from 1992 to 2007. As IT Manager, he directed the vision for use of technology for the firm and was responsible for system integration, maintenance, and deployment of new technology. This included installing and maintaining all networking infrastructure.

As Digital Studio Director, he led a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining web sites and interactive presentations, as well as CD-ROM and DVD projects.

Brad works with clients to determine technical requirements and specifications, provide the technology approach to maximize interactive capabilities, and effectively translate design from rough concept to fully-produced interactive pieces across multiple platforms. He has extensive experience in ASP, HTML, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript, ODBC, PHP, mySQL, MSSQL, Drupal, Joomla, Macromedia Director, and Adobe Flash.

Brad has led digital design projects for clients such as Expedia, Inc, DHL, Airborne Express, Macys, Viacom, Cell Therapeutics, Fisher Communications, Port of Seattle and Microsoft Corporation.
